Summer Bucket List
It’s June 1, and the summer days are officially upon us. I have big plans this summer to do a lot of reading and relaxing, and a little bit of working, but also to try some things I’ve never tried before and travel to new places.
1) Visit Bloomington, Indiana
One of my dearest friends lives in Bloomington while she attends IU, and she is continuing to live there over the summer. I have yet to visit, so I have plans to take a solo trip out to Bloomington, do some hiking, reading and kayaking.
2) Visit O’Fallen Illinios.
One of my Uncle’s is in the Air Force and is stationed in Illinois so my family plans to take a little roadtrip out to visit them for a short 3 or 4 day visit.
While I am there, I would love to visit Chicago, since I’ve never been (it’s 5 hours from where they live), but I’m not sure if I will have enough time yet or not.
3) Find fun places to hike.
4) Visit Michigan: Boyne Mountain Resort Civic Center
Trey & I are going to a wedding in Michigan, so another roadtrib is queued up for this summer.
5) Lots of sunbathing next to the pool, with a big glass of water or a smoothie and a current read. If you want to know what I’m reading this month check out:
6) Take more pictures.
I used to do photography on a regular basis. I have shot senior pictures, family pictures and wedding pictures, and it’s something that I haven’t had a lot of time to do while I’ve been in college. Now that I’m graduated I want to start filling my calender with shoots, so stay tuned and make sure you check out my Instagram to see all of the fun summer photos.
7) Did I mention working, reading and relaxing?
My plans for this summer are to save as much money as I can to pay off my loans from school, and pay off my car. I added a page in my bullet journal tracking my finances and I am excited to see the amount of money that I owe decrease so I can start saving for other future expenses!!
Thanks for reading! Let me know what is on your summer bucket list in the comments below!!
