If you have been following my blog for awhile now, it should come as no surprise that I love writing and reading “If We Were Having Coffee” posts! They are so conversational and I love being able to share little tidbits about my life.
& Other Products I Have Been Loving this Holiday Season: Blogmas Day 6 Okay, so the title of this blog post isn’t necessarily true. I could live without all of the items that I am going to talk about today, so this basically is a […]
Christmas Photos that are inspiring me this season: Unsplash – Christmas Mood Board I recently discovered Unsplash! They are a site that has free stock images. I have been loving using Unsplash to create mood board and aesthetics. I have even started making some for […]
All the things I want to do this Christmas Season:
Blogmas Day 2
Gingerbread Houses – This is something I have always wanted to do, and this year we are going to make it a friendly competition! We are going to divide our family into small teams and then set a time limit for how long we have to build a gingerbread house!
Bake Cookies and make a new dessert – I think that the holidays is a perfect time to bake. Baking with friends and family is something that I personally really enjoy. I also, really love trying new recipes! I will be sure to share the best ones with all of you!
Christmas shopping – The hustle and bustle of this time of year coupled with the lights and the festive colors is magical to me. I love going to the big outdoor malls and just people watching.
Do a puzzle – A lot of people think that puzzling is an activity for the elderly, but if it is, than I am old at heart because I love bringing home a 2,000 piece puzzle, making hot chocolate and listening to Christmas music.
Read-a-thon – It is the perfect time of year to cuddle up next to the fireplace with some fuzzy socks, a steamin’ hot drink, and a book.
Buy new P.J.s – this is something I have never done before, but I love seeing posts of entire families in their new matching pajama sets. I just think its adorable.
Wrap Presents – this is obviously a must. If you buy presents, ya gotta wrap them.
Watch all the Christmas movies – The classics and the newbies. Some of my favorites include White Christmas, It’s a Wonderful Life, How the Grinch Stole Christmas and Polar Express.
Make an ornament (DIY Christmas Ornaments) – Okay, go to Christmas and look at all the ideas that they have for making your own ornaments, the possibilities are endless. Also it really personalizes your Christmas tree!
Some of the items on here are completely dependent on the weather – like Building a Snowman, but I am already praying for a white Christmas because I have family coming in from California and I want it to be magical for them!
Drive around and admire the lights – I don’t know what it is but I LOVE seeing the world lit up by Christmas lights.
What is on your to-do list this Christmas season? Let me know in the comments!
