MY REVIEW OF First Impressions:

This book was so fun to read! I am a huge fan of Pride and Prejudice so there were a lot of connections and times that made me smile remembering Jane Austen’s characters. In my opinion First Impressions, pays a great tribute to Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice and is a really fun read!

I thought the cast of characters were all well written and portrayed the characters that they are based off of in Pride and Prejudice well. It took me a little bit of time to get used to the different names used for the different characters and the weird setting (TEXAS!), but eventually it left an imprint and I really enjoyed it.

All in all this is a fun retelling of a classic story and if you are a fan of Pride and Prejudice, this one will be fun to read.

If you enjoy reading christian fiction or contemporary romance than this book is definitely the one for you! Add it to your TBR because you will be swept away by the story that unfolds before you.

  • Happy Independence Day! Great review! I’m currently reading Pride and Prejudice and I love it! I’ve heard of First Impressions but was unsure about reading a retelling. I’m glad to hear it’s good. I might just give it a try. 🙂

    • I was a bit unsure of a retelling of such a classic story, and it did take a little while for all the characters to set in my mind, but it was really enjoyable! 🙂
