Title: Talking As Fast As I Can

Author: Lauren Graham

Series? No

Rating: ★★★★★

5 out of 5 stars

From the first few pages, I fell in love with this book. I am a huge fan of Gilmore Girls and I have watched every season, every episode and I have even watched the Netflix release of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. I adore fast-talking Lorelei Gilmore and I don’t think that anyone other than Lauren Graham could have been Lorelei.

The book Talking As Fast As I Can is written in a fun way. As I was reading it, I could literally hear Lorelei (Lauren Graham’s) voice in my head.

Fun fact: Talking As Fast As I Can is on audio book and Lauren Graham is the voice behind it, so you can literally listen to Lauren Graham read you her own story, which is pretty fun.

The book takes a fast pace, that will have you flipping pages as you learn about Lauren Graham’s childhood, early adult years, and more. You learn about how she came to be an actor, her struggles and her successes. The book made me laugh, which in my opinion, makes it a good book!

Lauren Graham shares her diary while she was on the set of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life and how emotional it was for her and the rest of the cast

My absolute favorite parts of the book were reading about The Kitchen Timer and the chapter on Old Lady Jackson. I won’t share them here, because I don’t want to spoil the book, but if you ever get a chance to read the book, make sure you read those chapters!!

Thanks for reading!
