SNYOPSIS FROM GOODREADS:

Meet Daisy Winters. She’s an offbeat sixteen-year-old Floridian with mermaid-red hair; a part time job at a bootleg Walmart, and a perfect older sister who’s nearly engaged to the Crown Prince of Scotland. Daisy has no desire to live in the spotlight, but relentless tabloid attention forces her to join Ellie at the relative seclusion of the castle across the pond.

While the dashing young Miles has been appointed to teach Daisy the ropes of being regal, the prince’s roguish younger brother kicks up scandal wherever he goes, and tries his best to take Daisy along for the ride. The crown–and the intriguing Miles–might be trying to make Daisy into a lady . . . but Daisy may just rewrite the royal rulebook to suit herself.

MY REVIEW OF THE Royals:

This was a fun and cute summer read!

The characters were all well formed and most of them really maked me laugh, but I have to say that Daisy’s character was by far my favorite character. She made me laugh out loud (embarassingly, more than once) while I read this book. Her smart alec and witty comments made this book more enjoyable for me.

Going into this book I braced myself for their to be insta-love and for the most part that’s what happened. I was able to guess who Daisy was going to end up with super early in the story.

All in all, it was a quick and fun read. I enjoyed the setting of the book and the differences between the two sisters. I did kind of feel like the book ended abruptly, but their is another book coming in the series.

This was a good and fluffy read that doesn’t take a lot of brain powere to read, which is what I needed after such a heavy week of reading.

This book has a romantic flair, but in my opinion is appropriate for younger girls to read as well!

I recommend this book for anyone who enjoys young adult contemporary romance with a twist of royalty!

Thanks so much for stopping by and reading this book review!

xoxo
